I was skimming in my tumblr and I saw this photo of the punk 70's band, The Ramones and I was inspired on how laid back yet screaming of statement their clothes are. But I don't know if I can pull of the studded belt without having a skater aura or prison mother rather than a punk rock star. I love how you can just wear a graphic shirt, skinnies and a leather jacket. But with fashion, who cares right? One moment I have a boho feel next I have a business suit one. Oh how I'm loving fashion more and more! I'm going to give this a try soon!

I missed on Jason Wu for Target, the same way I did on Missoni before! I was working on the day it was launched and I was so tired yesterday, I just slept. I didn't really care on missing out on Missoni's because the pieces are not as high-end as Jason Wu's. Actually, I almost didn't go to Target to check it out. I was in the middle of saving or missing out rut. When I went there, the racks are almost empty. The cat tote that I originally wanted is out of stock. I saw this sheer top and I got it out of a whim. I am really regretting not getting the tote. But this is not bad either. I feel so girly and romantic. Ha! I also got those booties which I was tricked on paying $4 bucks more but it was too late.

Anyhoo. It was too windy today, I need to wear a coat. Imagine.
Ugh. I don't feel good today. I think I'm developing an ulcer.

Jeffrey Campbell is notorious for its designs, colors, textures and concept of shoes. The Lita itself is a step forward a regular boots, oxford and platform. As much as I am amazed by the whole JC concept, these three pairs in particular are really silly in terms of style and comfort.
(All of these are my opinion only).

So I went on an online window shopping on Urban Outfitter's site. (I really think what they have are my taste and style, but they are extremely overpriced, so I always check out the sale section). My love for shoes is not the same as Carrie Bradshaw's. I am not a stalker of Manolo or Louboutin. I feel like this is because of my affinity on street style. Though if given the chance, of course an apartment size closet of Manolo, Louboutin, McQueen, Miu Miu and the likes would be my honor.

As you all may know, I moved more than a year ago to a very small town in the South. And this is a challenge because to be honest, I feel so constricted. So everytime I go around to, I try to convert this to a chance to clear my head.

Yesterday, I went with my Mom to do some errands. We drove downtown which is like 15 minutes away from our house. I was excited.

This is one among the 10 or so antique stores I saw today. Which I plan to rummage.

I love and am intrigued on the color of this building.

This is the first outfit post that is snapped outside my room (at the appraisal office). It's very refreshing. This single shot is taken by my Mom and I feel so silly. And so I wonder how other bloggers could take photos in public places. I guess it'll grow on me. It's fun! Being you and all in front of a camera out for the world to rain their opinions. Anyhoo, Today I went with my Mom to run some errands. Adult errands to be exact because I wanted to be independent and if showering and going out on 20+ degrees plus West Texas wind are what it takes, then so be it.

Target has been my comfort shopping place. You can tell, though I feel like I should invest in a good and quality brands. Like my Mom, she has a lot of good quality bags that are considered vintage now. I just have to get over my stinginess. But I can't say the same for jeans. I am very hard to shop for a good fitting jeans. This $10.50 jeans are the most flattering and fitting jeans I own. So no regrets on that. Isn't fashion expression along with comfort?

Today is good. I wish all dressing up is as easy as today. I just pulled out this pieces and bam! I'm out the door. I guess I am just really inspired my men's wear/ men's layering on winter. Collars, pull overs, monochromatic, leather, suits, beanies... I love the simplicity, comfort and structure. I know I could wear this style all the time. And for the love of yellow, I can't leave my favorite scarf behind, so this outfit is personalized. I think I forgot what accessories are. I also got a beret at Ross. The beret I've been eyeing for more than a month I think.

P.S. I'm sorry for the quality of photos, I half-heartedly despise my camera.

It was Summer of '11 when we went to Vegas for my Mom's college reunion. We went and saw Cirque du Soleil, Love. It features the songs of the legendary, The Beatles. Back in college, I would always buy a Dunkin Donut before and after class. I would always get the most filled and nutty ones. So when my co-workers blurted about sweet treats starting with a cupcake to this donut joint, my blood got pumping and it suddenly reminded me of my habit in college. They said that theya re made fresh and out in the parking lot, you can smell all the ingredients being baked. It smelled so wonderful, it could give a sugar high right there. The place looks like a legit joint. Not so fancy but not neglected either. But the catch is, their donut is not what I expected from the hype. But the nostalgia is undeniably awesome.

I may have an obsession with shoes.

Everytime I go out to shop, I check the shoe racks next to the clearance racks.

I love shoes but you won't see me spending a paycheck for a pair.

These are two more additions to what could be a shoes collection.

I love the playfulness of red and the different textures and materials of these.

But mind you, they are not the most comfy pairs.

The flats are 1/2-1 size bigger but I couldn't pass them up.

The wedge is not supporting my feet at all. It's like it flattened once I put weight on it.

I may have to invest on a Dr. Scholl's.

It's snowing! And unlike the past winter, it's more showers than flurries now.

It is also official that my favorite season is Christmas. Not just because I'm in a snowing country or because of gifts. It's because everybody is nice and warm during this season. The movies or shows theme is all about family and friends and love. Oh, I could go on and on.

A few days ago, I took the same angle and the road is so much different.

I really regret getting this camera. I have a Sony 16.2 megapixel, HD capable digital camera.

The zoom is just 5 times only. But it will have to do for now since I don't have enough savings to get a better one. Ugh.

Yes, it rained where I am right now. I came from a tropical country so wet days are no biggie. But here, it's like a divine intervention since we have experienced a drought during the summer.

Anyhoo, my tripod is still broken and I haven't purchased a new one yet so I will probably be absent in the images for a while. I'm trying to weigh in the priorities when it comes to spending.

I love the chilly but not freezing weather this morning.

So the rarest thing happened at work, I finished early! Thanks to pre-Halloween census. So when I got out of the building of the hospital, this greeted me. This is the first time off fall season when I beat the sunrise. It was just so beautiful outside! Also very cold!

I took the following using my phone. My camera is sitting for nothing at home.

Dallas-(passing Austin)-San Antonio-Houston Road Trip: Houston

HOUSTON!

So Houston poured on us BIG TIME! It's like all hell went to the heavens and blurred the road. So our first day in Houston was spent under the rain and asian markets. I bought a lot of comfort foods (that were gone in less than a week). So I thought we are going to cancel NASA, I was building to being upset. I was like a kid whose dream of becoming an astronaut is cancelled. But then my Mom arranged the trip to be on the next day.

The BestWestern where we stayed at is the best place ever! Check out my review along with other people who they satisfied!

I wasn't able to take a lot of photos since I am driving and it was rai...ning!!!

Oh my gosh.. NASA!!!

I was thinking that they have that attraction where you float like you are in space but they have long took that off (per staff).

These trees are commemorating the astronauts who died. It was very solemn when we stopped for a minute to pray for their soul.

At this point, my respect for their profession went off the space. They are the people who really devoted to what they do. Some of them died just when the spaceship lifts off the ground. Can you imagine all the hard work gone in just a few minutes.

Dallas-(passing Austin)-San Antonio-Houston Road Trip: SAN ANTONIO

SAN ANTONIO!

So we had car trouble on our way to San Antonio. The GPS quit talking to us which makes it harder to drive in freeways. We had to stop and figure how we are going to play things around. I called Cadillac road-side assistance but it will have to tale 45 minutes before the towing service would arrive. We are also losing the sun. We decided to go over Cadillac at Sewell. RIght there they can't also figure out what is the problem. They suggested for us come back in the morning so they can diagnose the problem.

BTW, the agent at Cadillac smit both me and my Mom. He is a hot middle-age man.

Anyhoo, We said we'll come and now our trip is pushed back a night. We had to stay over Dallas and drive in the morning, rather than being half way to San Antonio.

In the morning when we are getting ready to go back to Sewell, we tested the GPS. Miraculously, it worked! We were so dumbfounded why all the hitches happened. We made a courtesy call to Cadillac to say we weren't coming back.

I'm kind of sad because I don't get to see Mr. Hot stuff. Lol! Anyhoo, it's worth it.

I'd say it was very interesting because it landed us more discounts. even discounts that we clearly can't get. My Mom thought that it's because she is cute, I just had to break it to her. Lol! Whoo! I never loved smiling until then.

It was pouring on us in Houston! I had to wear tights!i didn't want to wear pants just because.

I was not really in the mood to dress up on this day because I feel bloated.

Houston continuation:

So we decided to go to NASA the next day because it was raining cats and dogs! (Details on incoming blog). I was already wearing a dress when my Mom commanded me too wear something that will allow flipping over back and forth. I begrudgingly wore this ensemble.

This couple is so nice. They are from Ohio on a roadtrip too. I just love how their outfits and hair compliments each other. They can't be anymore less of a couple. Their aura is also very optimistic.
